They re-striped our entire shopping center lot in one weekend. The lines are sharp, the ADA spaces are perfect, and the price was very fair. Highly recommend!

We needed our parking lot re-striped and new wheel stops installed before our grand opening. They delivered ahead of schedule and the lot looks brand new. Great crew to work with.

Fire Lanes Your Fire Marshal Can Read
A fire lane keeps a path open for fire trucks and ambulances, and it only works if drivers can see it and know they can't park there. When the red paint fades and the stencils wear off, cars start stopping in the fire lane, and that becomes your problem at the next fire inspection.
In San Antonio, the Fire Marshal designates a property's fire lanes and requires signs, and owners can also be directed to paint the fire lane curbs red with white FIRE LANE, NO PARKING lettering. Where a fire lane isn't clearly defined, the Fire Marshal can also require a red stripe on the pavement that marks its edges.
We paint the curbs and the pavement stripes, stencil the wording at the right size and spacing, and install the fire lane signs, so you can hand the whole fire lane to one contractor.

Curbs, Stripes, Stencils, and Signs
San Antonio's Fire Lane Marking Standard
San Antonio's fire code calls for fire lane curbs painted red with white stenciled letters reading "Fire Lane, No Parking," using 4-inch lettering with no more than 40 feet between each set of wording, along with posted fire lane signs. Other cities around San Antonio set their own standards, so we confirm the rules for your city before we paint.

How Fire Lane Striping Works
Free On-Site Assessment
We walk the fire lane with you, measure the curbs and pavement that need marking, and check the existing stencils, stripes, and signs against your city's standard.
Prep
Curbs and pavement are cleaned so the paint bonds, and any loose or peeling paint comes off first. Heavily soiled areas get pressure washed.
Painting and Stenciling
We paint the curbs and stripes red, then stencil FIRE LANE, NO PARKING in white at the letter size and spacing your city requires.
Signs and Final Check
We install or replace fire lane signs if your property needs them, then walk the full fire lane to confirm it reads clearly from end to end.

Common Questions About Fire Lane Striping
How do fire lanes have to be marked in San Antonio?
San Antonio's fire code requires fire lane signs once the Fire Marshal designates a fire lane, and owners may paint the fire lane curbs red, or be directed to, with white "Fire Lane, No Parking" lettering 4 inches tall and no more than 40 feet apart. Where the fire lane isn't clearly defined, the Fire Marshal can require a 4-inch red stripe that marks its boundaries.
What about cities outside San Antonio?
Each city adopts its own fire code, so the wording, letter size, and spacing can change from one city to the next. Live Oak's fire code, for example, has called for 4-inch letters every 25 feet. Where no local rule applies, Texas law sets a default of red curbs marked FIRE LANE TOW AWAY ZONE in white letters at least 3 inches tall, no more than 50 feet apart. We confirm the standard for your city before we paint.
How much does fire lane striping cost?
Fire lane curbs are priced by the linear foot, up to $1.20 per linear foot, because the paint has to cover the top and face of the curb. Pavement stripes, stencils, and signs are measured and counted separately. We measure your fire lane on site and give you a written quote.
How often do fire lanes need to be repainted?
There is no fixed schedule in the codes we work with; fire lane markings simply need to stay clear and legible. In San Antonio's sun, solvent-based paint usually lasts around 2 to 3 years, so most properties repaint their fire lanes along with each restripe, or sooner if an inspector flags them.
Can you do the work without closing our lot?
Yes. We usually stripe fire lanes at night or on weekends and only cone off the section we are working on. The paint dries quickly, so the fire lane is back in service the same night.
Why Faded Fire Lanes Matter
A fire lane that drivers can't read is a fire lane they will park in. In San Antonio, it is unlawful to park in a designated fire lane once the signs are posted or the red curbing is in place, and property owners may have vehicles towed from it, but that only works when the markings are clear enough for drivers to notice.
Fire inspections are the other reason to keep fire lanes fresh. If the red has faded to pink, the stencils are missing, or the signs are gone, repainting before the inspection is quite a bit easier than repainting after one.
If your fire lane is part of a bigger restripe, we handle both in the same visit. If it is the only thing that needs attention, we can repaint the curbs, stencils, and signs on their own, usually in a single night.
